The collection is organized to reflect Millen's activities with the National Women's Political Caucus (NWPC), the Georgia Women's Political Caucus (GWPC), and the Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLUW) from 1980-1988. The NWPC material focuses on two national conferences, "Showcase?85" and "Targeting America's Future" (1987), and includes information packets, invitations and mailings, and conference T-shirts. Photographs in the NWPC material document a Super Saturday Meeting in Atlanta, and the Democratic National Convention (Atlanta 1988) and depict Pat Schroeder, Ann Richards, Mary Davis, and others. The GWPC section consists of organizational and political information, information on "Georgia Women and the Law" conferences (1986; 1987) and "Women's History Month," address lists, photographs, and a videotape entitled "Women Make A Difference: Georgia Women in Politics." This 1986 video includes appearances by Georgia politicians Georganna Sinkfield and Eleanor Richardson, and Atlanta mayor Andrew Young. The narrator is television reporter Monica Kaufman who focuses on women politicians and the history of women's suffrage in Georgia. The CLUW material includes organizational information, an undated photograph of the real "Norma Rae" (Crystal Lee Sutton), and information on "International Women's Day" (1983; 1985). Completing the collection are copies of the ERA Quilt postcard, political buttons, unidentified photographs and videotapes featuring various women's issues; some personal correspondence, miscellaneous newspaper clippings, and student research on Millen, which includes an interview transcript.
