Life in Cambodia, 1979 to 1993.

Presents the oral histories of ten Cambodians who remained in the country following the fall of the Khmer Rouge in 1979. They describe their own experiences under the Khmer Rouge, but the focus is primarily on living conditions in Cambodia in the period to 1993, when national elections were imminent,. Except for one interview, they are in the Khmer language, with running summaries in English. All of the narrators chose to remain anonymous and pseudonyms were used.
