Agnes Rust Smith was born in San Angelo in 1905. Her family founded the San Angelo Telephone Company. Agnes owned and operated the 3R Ranch where she raised cattle. She helped organize the Fort Concho Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, and the Pearls of the Concho Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The collection contains genealogical materials and supporting documentation, memorabilia, and photographs.
