Photographs of various members of the Lamson family in three carte de visite albums and one box of loose portraits, taken ca. 1860-1920. Most of the photographs in the albums are unidentified but contain portraits of members of the Lamson and Green families, friends, and Civil War soldiers. The loose portraits contain many photographs of opera singer Gardner Swift Lamson and his wife Mary Roberts Dater Lamson, among others. Photographers include Frederick Gutekunst of Philadelphia, Pa., Manchester Bros. of Providence, R.I., Lemuel Wallace Cook and Southworth & Hawes of Boston, Mass., and Mathew B. Brady. Includes cabinet cards, carte de visite, and tintypes.
