The collection consists of four items, including: detailed bill and receipt paid by Cobbett, 19 Aug. 1793-25 Feb. 1794, kept by Messrs. Dutilh & Wachsmuth (Philadelphia, Pa.) including clothing, writing supplies, and traveling expenses; fragment, in two pieces, circa 1805, a diatribe against Cheltenham; letter to Mr. Tegart, 29 July 1828, thanking him for his advice in a medical matter; letter to Mr. Ackerman, 29 Oct. 1828, with news of his activities.

The mercantile firm of Dutilh & Wachsmuth was established in Philadelphia in 1790 and was dissolved ca. 1798-1799.
