City Council ordinances, 1722.

This collection consists of three ordinances passed by the Philadelphia Common Council, mayor, recorder, and alderman in 1722. Ordinances concern controlling the dog population in the city, preventing "mischief or damage that may happen by Waggoners Carters and Draymen," and ensuring that citizens ride through the city streets at appropriate speeds.
