George S. Klein papers, 1940-1971.

The George S. Klein papers contain an extensive amount of correspondence. There are also reports, research and publication material. The major focus of Klein's work was in the area of cognition. Among other subjects included in the collection are memory, dreams, personality, motivation, and subliminal perception. The collection contains correspondence and research material regarding the study of the cognitive effects of LSD and mescaline. There is considerable correspondence regarding Klein's work as a professor at New York University and as a consultant to the Menninger Foundation.
