A diary kept by Hunter, a Princeton graduate and chaplain of the New Jersey brigade during the campaigns in Long Island and northern New Jersey, July 22 to Nov. 24, 1776, and also during Sullivan's campaign, June 22 to Oct. 1, 1779 in New York State.
