Log book of the U.S. torpedo boat destroyer Bainbridge commanded by Lt. G.W. Williams, USN attached to Asiatic Station beginning at December 12, 1903 and ending at October 5, 1905. 1903-1905.

Two consecutive logbooks of torpedo boat destroyer Bainbridge, Asiatic Fleet. First volume was compiled by Willams G. W. from December 12 1903 to July 9 1904, and 2nd volume was compiled by Sexton W.R. from July 9 1904 to October 5 1905. Brief, inconsistent daily entries primarily recorded weather conditions and the startup dynamo as she ventured from the southeast U.S. waters across to Western Europe, the Mediterranean, and Asia. Minimal operation data noted. Apparently rough sailing for crew on several occasions.
