Transcript and sound recording of Lucille Kendall's 1979 interviews with Phyllis Foley documenting her experiences and activities as an officer of the Hotel & Restaurant Employees and Bartenders International Union in San Francisco in the mid-1970s, as well as the labor career of her mother, Hotel & Restaurant Employees and Bartenders International Union organizer and official Bertha Metro. Interviews address the role of women in the San Francisco labor movement from the 1930s to the 1970s.
