William B. Osgood Field papers for Ernest Griset on my shelves, 1932-1937.

Various research materials for a book project that included a chronology of Ernest Henry Griset's life and a catalog of Field's collection of Griset's work. Book was to be titled Ernest Griset on my shelves. Some materials are in the hand of Field's research assistant, Jane Quinby, some by Field, and some unidentified others. Also includes 1937 letters from Willy Wiegand (1884-1961) of the Bremer Presse and bound corrected proofs of the book. Includes autograph manuscript notes, letters, corrected bound page proofs, typescript drafts with autograph manuscript revisions, card files, and a clay pipe.
