Also includes Weld's account of monies received and disbursed for the Indians, and a catalog of John Eliot's library and papers belonging to the corporation of New England in London.

John Eliot, styled "the Indian Apostle," was born in England, emigrated to the U.S. (Boston) in 1631 and died at Roxbury, Mass.
