Transcribed by Seamus Ennis of the Irish Folklore Commission during the period November 1946 - March 1947 from the original Presto Gramophone Recordings and Ediphone Cylinders in the Island of Canna. Original manuscript compiled in 1937 by J.L. Campbell and his wife, Mrs. Faye Shaw Campbell, located with the Irish Folklore Commission Dublin as of 1947 June.
