Gallini was the manager of the King's Theatre. The letter relates to the engagement of dancer/choreographer Pierre Gardel. It also includes copies, in Gallini's hand, of two letters signed by Guiseppe and Michele Fabiani regarding money owed by them to John Christopher Thoman; Michele Fabiani danced at the King's Theatre. Perigaux was a banker in Paris.
