Includes ten sketch books (396 drawings in white chalk, pencil, crayon, ink, and watercolor) by Longfellow containing portrait and flower drawings in pen, pencils, watercolor, and wash, as well as landscape drawings of England, Europe, Japan, and some of her hometown Cambridge, Mass. Also includes sketches by Ernest Wadsworth Longfellow, who was Harriet Spelman Longfellow's husband and the son of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
