Three certificates issued by the Freemasons of Mississippi to Miller Stewart. A 23 August 1853 certificate issued by the Vicksburg Lodge No. 23 noted Stewart's promotion to Master Mason. A 23 December 1854 certificate issued by the Vicksburg R.A. Chapter No. 3 noted Stewart's advancement to Royal Arch Mason. In addition, a 1 January 1855 certificate was issued by the Magnolia Encampment of the Knights Templar. All three of the certificates feature an assortment of Masonic imagery.
