The collection reflects Luce's theatrical career, particularly in one-woman shows in the 1950s and 1960s. Contains annotated scripts and promptbooks; contracts; accounts; correspondence; costume, set and publicity sketches by Luce; production notes; cue sheets; sheet music; photographs; programs; publicity; touring itineraries; and clippings from Shakespeare's Women, Tennessee William's Women, and other productions; and a filmed television performance of Luce performing Elizabeth Barrett Browning's "Sonnets from the Portuguese" on the "Tonight Show". Her teaching career is documented with lecture notes, correspondence, a course description, and clippings.
