Edwin Herbert Hall papers, 1875-1938.

Consists of 13 boxes of compositions by Hall (and a few by others) and one box of correspondence. Hall's writings include notes, lectures, and articles on such subjects as the Hall effect and other related phenomena, metallic conduction, atomic structure, ionization, and the teaching of physics. Includes lectures in French on higher education in the United States. Correspondence dates chiefly from 1915 to 1928 and includes copies of Hall's outgoing letters. Also included are visas for Hall and his wife Caroline Bottum Hall, and a photograph.
