The Texas Women's Alliance records document the history, activities, programs and policy positions of the Texas Women's Alliance (TWA), in its first 11 years. The Administrative Records include meeting minutes, correspondence, memoranda, press releases, bylaws, financial records, as well as resumes, biographies and photographs of board members. Committee Records include reports, position papers on issues, news clippings, the TWA newsletter, and membership directories. Various TWA activities are documented, including their trade missions to foreign countries. The Events series documents TWA conferences, seminars, and retreats as well as award ceremonies including the 1987 Distinguished Service Award given to Cyndi Taylor Krier. Issue Files include reports, studies, clippings, and other published materials of interest to members.

Cyndi Taylor Krier represented Bexar County in the Texas Senate for two terms from 1984 through 1992. In 1992, Krier was the first woman and first Republican elected as Bexar County Judge.
