Television reporter in Great Falls, Mont. A native of Helena, Norma Beatty Ashby graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. She lived in New York City for four years, working for Life Magazine and MD Medical News-magazine. Over the years, since its original building in 1902, the capitol building had been renovated and remodeled many times.
