Gardiner Greene family photographs, ca. 1860-1930.

Photographs relating to the Gardiner Greene family of Boston, Mass. Subjects include portraits of Elizabeth Copley Greene, Baron John Singleton Copley Lyndhurst, and other Greene family members, as well as photographs of construction at Pemberton Square in Boston, Mass., site of the former Gardiner Greene estate on Pemberton Hill, that were taken ca. 1894-1900. There are also a number of architectural photographs of the interior and exterior of the Gov. Christopher Gore mansion in Waltham, Mass., taken by Frank Cousins of Salem, Mass. ca. 1910-1920. Other photographers include James Wallace Black of Boston, Mass.; many of the photographers are unidentified. Includes carte de visite.
