Bunnie Browning autograph album, 1859-1866.

The collection consists of an autograph album kept by Bunnie Browning of Athens, Georgia, 1859-1866. The autographs and sentiments are to Miss Browning from her friends. At least eight of the autographs are by Confederate soldiers, most from Athens. Three served in the Athens Guards, Co. K, 3rd Georgia Infantry: George Graham, Charles W. Reynolds, and Charles B. Mason. The volume is bound in gold and blind stamped embossed morocco. Edges gilt. One illustration by T. Johannot and W.L. Ormsby.

George Graham, Charles W. Reynolds, and Charles B. Mason served in the Athens Guards, Co. K, 3rd Georgia Infantry. Graham was killed at Antietam; Reynolds and Mason served throughout the war and surrendered at Appomattox. Tony Johannot and W. L. Ormsby were engravers and illustrators.
