Consists chiefly of selected manuscripts of novels, plays, short stories, essays, and articles of Phillips (Princeton Class of 1887). An addition to the collection includes correspondence by and about Phillips, photographs of Phillips and members of his family, and a typescript of a biographical sketch of Phillips from a letter of Arthur West Little addressed to Isaac Frederick Marcosson, dated Dec. 29, 1931, as Marcosson was writing a memoriam of Carolyn Frevert, Phillips's sister.
