Sherman Minton letters, 1949-1955.

This collection contains one letter from Howard Bourne to Judge Sherman Minton and three letters from Minton to Bourne. The congratulatory letter from Bourne to Minton compliments him on his appointment to the Supreme Court. The first of the three letters from Minton to Bourne conveys thanks for Bourne's letter. The second letter mentions the death of friend, Fred Kist. The third letter makes reference to the court's opinion on segregation.
