Papers and records (1901-1991) documenting the organization and activities of the various alumni organizations of the University of Colorado. Founded in 1882 as an independent organization of alumni, the Alumni Association became a department of the CU Foundation in 1996. The collection contains minutes, activity files, class reunion materials, audio-visual material, and fundraising records.

Fred Hellems, who compiled the two-page list of admission and graduation requirements of U.S. universities, was a Canadian who came to the University of Colorado as a Latin professor in 1898. He served as Dean of Arts and Sciences from 1899 until his death in 1929, and also was acting President in 1927-1928.
