Copy of Leicester's disposal of his daughter Lady Isabella's marriage portion. Authorizing the Earl's various properties "to bee Subject [and] lyable vnto such Provisoes Reservac[i]ons charges [and] clauses" as are necessary to pay off his "Debts [and] Such legacies [and] Guiffts [and] other appointm[en]ts as by his Will dated [th]e 22th of July in [th]e 18th yeare of K. Charles [th]e 1st." Recalling specifically the bequests in his will of £3,000 a piece as "marriage porc[i]on" to his daughters, "to bee raysed Levyed [and] paid out of the Rents issues [and] profitts" of the premises, in light of the non-payment of the sum to the Lady Isabella after her recent marriage to Phillip, Viscount of Strangford, and the birth of a child from the union (who apparently did not survive). Declaring that Lady Isabella (and the Lord Strangford) will receive only £2,000 from the Earl's trustees, while the Earl's other daughter is to receive £1,000 from the trustees.
