This collection consists of an alphabetized file on union relations with local companies (1935-1951); minute books from Local 1380 (1937-1985); 11 convention photographs (1937-1962); and 8 16mm films on union activities and promotional campaigns (circa 1950-1983). Many of these records date from the era of the Steel Workers Organizing Committee, immediately prior to the formation of the USWA in mid-1942.
