His papers consists of folders relating to his pastorates, the Williams family, the Dockery family, his education at Wake Forest College, and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Ky. including some of his writings. The minute book of Mountain Creek Union, Richmond County, North Carolina, 1831-35 (and typescript) are also in the family papers.
