Correspondence, educational pamphlets and brochures, photographs, posters and clipping files educating the public about the issue of abortion rights. Includes files on Mary Gilmore and Charlotte Taft who started Choice; a fund established honoring Rosie Jimenez, the first woman on Medicaid who died of an illegal abortion; politicians and their stands on the issue; testimonials from women who received abortions and the North Texas Abortion Rights League (NTARL) Also includes correspondence, files, brochures, signs and posters and hate mail from pro-life groups and individuals. The Choice Foundation is listed under the 501(c)3 as Freedom of Choice.

Poet John Blight was born in Brisbane in 1913. He was twice awarded a 3 year Literary Board Fellowship (1973 and 1977). Other literary awards include, the Myer award (1964) and the Patrick White award (1976).
