Military records and photographs of the Oilschlager family (Ellsworth and Walter) of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. The military records of Ellsworth Oilschlager consist of his World War II Army Air Forces Bombardment Group 462nd radar mechanic school certificates. Also included is a historical data questionnaire, local selective service board classification, and roster of inductees from Milwaukee, Wis. The papers and photographs of Walter Oilschlager (father of Ellsworth) consist of his service in World War I with the 120th Field Artillery. Included are his honorable discharge military records from the army and Wisconsin National Guard. Of note, is a troop billet ticket for the transport ship Leviathan, an information flyer about regulations aboard the troop transport ship Wilhelmina, individual pay record book, welcome home celebration program, souvenir postcards from Waco (Texas), and a pamphlet explaining the 32nd Division's distinguishing mark. The photographs are of Walter Oilschlager during World War I. An oversize poster has a roster of all of the officers and recruits for Troop "G" of the First Wisconsin Cavalry.
