Edwin Coblentz Voorhies (1891-1967) began his fifty four year career with the University of California in 1913, immediately after graduation from the University's Berkeley campus. He served on the Davis campus from 1913 to 1925 in the Department of Animal Husbandry, except for a period of service in the Army during World War I.
