Contains executive records of William F. Sullivan as President of NTA. Includes correspondence, 1964-1968; pamphlets; statements by Sullivan; and an organization history. Records concerning Berkshire Hathaway center around the company's relations with labor unions representing its employees. Ranging from 1946-1979, they include records of meetings with union representatives, negotiations, grievances, labor disputes, etc. Also included are miscellaneous files of Seabury Stanton, Berkshire's president. The Fall River-New Bedford files contain material gathered by Sullivan about labor relations of the New Bedford Cotton Manufacturers' Assn., the Fall River Textile Manufacturers Assn., and the Fall River-New Bedford Textile Manufacturers Negotiating Group, all formed to jointly negotiate labor contracts for their member mills. The files date from the 1940's-1955 and cover labor negotiations, grievances, wage reopening documents, and arbitrations. The subject reference files contain material gathered during Sullivan's tenure with the NTA and relate primarily to labor matters.
