The Fred S. Bennett "College life at the University of Washington" photograph album contains amateur and commercial photographs documenting the University of Washington campus and student activities. Included are images of buildings such as Parrington Hall and Clarke Hall, as well as buildings remaining from the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition; social events, including Junior Day and May Dances; President Theodore Roosevelt's visit; and student social groups such as "The Highbrows." Many of the structures depicted in this album have since been destroyed and replaced. Several of the commercial photographs of the campus are by Lloyd G. Linkletter.

Fred Stanley Bennett attended the University of Washington from 1911-1914. The years immediately following the 1909 Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition (AYPE) saw the rapid expansion of the campus.
