Congratulating him on his recent marriage; indicating that once it returns from the press at the end of the month, he will send him "Assommoir"; suggesting that he will forward his letter to Alexis, unless he wishes to write him directly at "rue de Laval, 32 bis"; expressing the hope that his "exile in the country won't last too long," and that they will visit soon, further indicating best wishes from his wife.
