The collection contains 12 postcards (11 black and white photo postcards, 1 color) collected by Evie L. Cotes. The postcards include images of Anchorage, Fairbanks, Seward, The Matanuska-Susitna Valley, Ketchikan, Spenard, the Alaska Railroad, and Cook Inlet. Each card is identified on the back by Ms. Cotes. In addition, there are 5 conservation negatives for some of these photographic postcards.
