Accounts, bills and receipts concerning Major William Sherriff, Deputy Quartermaster-General, in New York (1773 October) and Boston (1774-1775). Includes accounts, bills and receipts concerning Jonathan Clarke, Assistant Commissary General for the Convention Troops, in Cambridge, 1777-1778. The last folder contains two receipts for payment from the Paymaster General at Halifax, two receipts from the Commissary General of Provisions for Canada, a receipt from the Commissary Storekeeper for Newfoundland, a quarterly return of provisions issued to a detachment of His Majesty's Royal Newfoundland Regiment at St. Johns, and some receipts for victualling troops.
