Regarding the Plague of Malta; expressing his sympathy for the situation of Green and a Mr. Thomas, knowing "how much you devote yourself to the relief of your fellow creatures"; describing an enclosed translation of a paragraph from an article in the Austrian Observer that he believes to be relevant; asking his opinion on the subject and "how far the plague has or has not attacked the vaccinated children" there.
