Explaining that she tries "to live as amicably as possible with people on whom [she] must depend for possible help"; stressing that she does "not want to stay on the Ranch with Colestar as its sole caretaker" because Colestar is "unable to drive, and not overly articulate on the telephone in case of emergencies"; saying that she "cannot afford to stay in a hotel while [Pleydell-Bouverie] is gone and the Ranch is without an adequate caretaker."
