Peter Welsh papers, 1862-1864.

Correspondence, 1862-1864, written from camp in Stevensburg (Va.) and Falmouth (Mass.). Welsh writes to his wife, Margaaret, about his war experiences and comrades, and to other members ofhis family. The collection also contains a few photographs, Peter Walsh's enlistment papers, some official papers relating to Margaret Walsh's claim for a widow's pension, and a few other miscellaneous papers.
