[Forage book], 1782 Jul.-1783 Jun.

Forage book, 1782 Jul.-1783 Jun., kept by Stephen Jarvis at the Royal Magazine, Corlear's Hook, New York City. It contains returns of forage (hay, salt hay, straw, oats), and the names of many ranking British and Hessian officers and others to whom forage was issued. Also present are a few scattered pages of accounts and memos in an unidentified hand dated 1811 and later.
