Daybook, 1762-1763.

Daybook, 1762-1763. It records sales of the cargo of his ship, the Charming Sally, in Kingston, Jamaica, Havana, Charleston, S.C., and New York City, as well as disbursements for wages and other expenses. Charles Nicoll seems to have had a share in the enterprise. There are also a few receipts. Some pages were later used for spelling practice, recording pairs of homophones and their meanings.
