Correspondence between the Colonies of New York and Connecticut, 1839.

Transcribed copies of correspondence between officials of New York and Connecticut during the years 1662-1731, made from original documents in the Secretary's Office, State of Connecticut, in 1839. The majority of the letters are dated in the 1670's and pertain to boundary questions, and the 1690's, when they relate to hostilities with the French and Native Americans, particularly in northern New York State. Correspondents include: Edmund Andros, Peter Stuyvesant, Benjamin Fletcher, Thomas Dongan, Robert Treat, Robert Livingston, Richard Ingoldsby, Peter Schuyler, Capt. Jacob Milborne, Col. Ebenezer Johnson, Capt. Jonathan Bull, Col. John Allyn, et. al.
