Account books, 1834-1846, of the New York Hospital; including an account book, 1834-1846, for the hospital sinking fund; a bank book, 1835-1841, of the sinking fund commissioners and kept in account with the Bank of America; and six pages of accounts, 1840-1841, for the Building Committee in account with treasurer George Newbold. Account book entries for the hospital sinking fund include expenditures and income from investments in insurance, municipal and bank stock, bonds, mortages, etc.
