Memorial volume prepared by the officers of the New York Sewing Class and presented to the class in 1942 on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of its founding in 1872, with later entries added to the year 1957. Volume contains autographs of class members, a brief account of the organization's founding, notes and transcripts of meeting minutes recording special occasions and celebrations in the history of the society, printd by-laws and invitations, news clippings, and annual lists of class members, secretaries, number of garments made, etc.
