Account book, 1761-1774, of dry goods merchant John Keteltas of New York City, principally recording the settlement of his estate following his death in 1768 and division of his property amongst his mother Jane Keteltas, his brother, John Keteltas, and his brother in law, James Beekman. Includes a detailed inventory of his stock of dry goods, as well as earlier accounts, predating his death, recording the costs of building a new kitchen and repairing a small house in his possession. Additionally includes accounts for the settlement of the estate of Rachell Winne 1771-1773, as well as two inserted documents recording an estate settlement for the estate of Jane Keteltas, 1774, and an indenture, dated 1801, leasing property owned by James Beekman and located along Orange Street in New York City.
