Typescript by William Henry Shelton of seventeen chapters describing the history and furnishings of individual rooms in the Morris-Jumel Mansion, written some time in the 1920s following the 1916 publication of Shelton's book "The Jumel Mansion, being a full history of the house on Harlem Heights built by Robert Morris before the Revolution. Together with some accounts of its more notable occupants." Typescripts for individual chapters include original tail piece drawings executed in charcoal and pen and ink depicting household objects from the various rooms described.
