Papers and deeds, 1639-1795, relating to the property of Sir Peter Warren and his wife Susannah De Lancey Warren, and the settlement of their estates. The material includes deeds; indentures; business letters; maps of their landholdings in Greenwich (i.e. Greenwich Village) and Warrensburgh (i.e. Florida, Montgomery county, N.Y.); lists of their tenants; papers relating to Sir Peter Warren's promise to fund the education of Indian children at Stockbridge, Massachusetts. The papers and correspondence indicate business relationships with his brother-in-law Oliver De Lancey, his nephew Sir William Johnson, Phillip Van Cortlandt, Anthony Duane, John Glen, and John R. Bleecker, among others.
