Ledyard family papers, 1717-1927.

Scrapbooks containing genealogical notes, correspondence, clippings, and a few photographs along with photostat, handwritten, and typed transcripts of original documents, including correspondence, wills, inventories of estates, and church records related to the Ledyard family dating from 1717. The scrapbooks were compiled by Helen Fairchild probably beginning in the late 19th century and continuing until 1927. Most of the documents copied are those of John Ledyard of Connecticut and Benjamin Ledyard of Aurora, New York.
