Abstract

A collection of 13 cadastral maps covering a single block in New York City. All are freehand copies taken from larger originals made at various dates between 1814 and 1880. Most emphasize the water or bulkhead line intersecting the proposed West Street and give dimensions. Some show other property and lot lines, buildings and owners' names. A few show piers.
