Typescript of "I Hunt in the Attic" by George Wotherspoon (1863-1949), one of the first society newspaper reporters. The typescript is divided into 14 parts. The first seven parts discuss society events and society newspaper coverage of the 1880s-1910s, including Ward McAllister and the "Four Hundred" and Lillie Langtry. The latter seven parts describe the production of daily newspapers including mechanical processes.
